Oral Hygiene Day - 2018

1st August is celebrated all over India as Oral Hygiene Day in the loving memory of Dr. G.B. Shankwalkar who was a renowned Periodontist and also the Founder of the Indian Society of Periodontology.

The Department of Periodontology and Public Health Dentistry jointly celebrated this day today in our college by organizing an Oral health awareness campaign for all the patients visiting our Institute.

Oral Hygiene techniques are being demonstrated by the Interns. The day began by offering floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Shankwalkar. Thanks to Dr. Rajesh Kshirsagar for sparing his most valuable time and gracing the occasion by his presence. Thanks to our HoD Dr. Amita Mali for her constant support and guidance.

All patients were given free samples of tooth pastes sponsored by the ICPA company.

Also flap surgeries carried out free of cost for patients registered today.
