A central sports ground facility is available for carrying out indoor and outdoor sports activities. The sports ground is managed and maintained by the college of Physical education.

The institution has always stressed on the all-round growth of its students. The students are encouraged to participate in the sports activities to enhance the competitive spirit and tolerance - both physical and intellectual.

BVDU Dental college sports committee always encourages sports activities to in cultivate togetherness and competitive spirit among the students. These activities also help them for their development of physical and mental health. Our students actively participate in inter college tournaments as well as represent our university at Ashwamedh and All India Interuniversity tournaments. The committee organizes college sports week in the month of December and January, where students and staff actively participate and enjoy the events. The college has provided indoor sport facilities like table tennis, carrom, chess in our gymkhana. Our students use the university sports complex for outdoor games throughout the year. This year our college won intercollegiate Badminton tournament and also stood runners up for Basketball at national level invitational tournament “Dunkyard” and AFMC tournament. Dr. Madhura Kad , PG student, received best player of the tournament award at Dunkyard tournament.

Library

The library was established in 1989 as an integral part of the Dental college and hospital. It provides the academic soil for students to thrive on and in turn nourishes and nurtures the professionals of tomorrow by providing the right ambience and necessary in turn conductive to reading and studying. The library has separate section for the under graduate and post graduate students and the teaching staff. The extensive collection of books and journals, National and International is segregated subject wise in different sections. Optimum space utilization with open aisle provides maximum flexibility at minimum cost to meet future changing needs.

Space & Infrastructure Library and Information Centre occupies plinth area of (686sq mts).7381 square feet. It is having separate reading rooms for under graduate and post graduate students, with seating capacity of 150 seats. It is also having separate Internet section, stacking section, Journal and Periodicals section, Circulation section, Multimedia Section with 25 Computers, 2 Printer, 1 Scanners and 1 Photocopier machine to provide copy from document to users on demand.
