The department of Prosthodontics provides clinical services to the various patients and majority of the patients undergoing treatment are Geriatrics. In this department, fabrication of complete dentures, removable partial dentures, cast partials, and crown and bridge prosthesis are under taken, and the advanced procedures taken care by the department are, maxillofacial prosthesis, obturators, immediate dentures, dental implants and titanium castings. Students are ably guided and mentored by a highly committed and experienced faculty.

A fully equipped phantom head laboratory with simulators and ultra modern attachments like- air-rotor, micro motor, three way syringe to an individual table is provided for students (Post graduate/ Undergraduate) to perform the pre clinical exercises. This helps the students in achieving expertise and confidence when actually working on patients.

A state of the art ceramo-metal laboratory with latest all ceramic and metal ceramic furnances, titanium casting machine, milling machine, stereomicroscope etc allow for fabrication of prosthetic appliances and restoration with a high degree of precision. A systematic and well structured clinical and laboratory exposure promotes a great learning experience to the undergraduate and post graduate students.
