Inter Collegiate Badminton Tournament

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College Pune's undergraduate students participated in the Inter Collegiate Badminton tournament organized by BVDU College of Engineering on 12^th and 13^th August 2019.

5 boys and 5 girls from our college took part in the event held over 2 days and qualified through 2^nd and 3^rd rounds respectively.

They managed to fare decently in the tournament coming 3^rd as the girls reached the Semifinals and the boys did their best and gave a tough fight but lost in the Quarter finals.

The participants played with great enthusiasm and managed to get decent results even though competition was very tough.

Inter Collegiate Chess Tournament

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College Pune undergraduate students participated in the Inter Collegiate Chess Tournament organized by BVDU College of Ayurved on 6th and 7th August 2019

5 boys and 5 girls from our college took part in the event held over 2 days, playing 7 matches each. The participants had to play 4 matches on day 1 and 3 matches on day 2. We managed to fare decently in the tournament coming 4th overall among the 12 colleges who participated. Only the top 2 teams got awards, hence our students agonizingly missed out on an award.

The participants played with great enthusiasm and managed to get decent results even though competition was very tough.
